In this project we made a website. W used prior knowledge and ethnical skills to create a website with our previous projects. We have yet to be in animation but when we get there we will post a project from here too. We will use this website to broadcast our e9 skills and projects throughout our experience in this project.

Hello, my name is Anyzja Muse. This is my first year in the e-communications program and I’ve already learned so much!. So far I’ve been in the video rotation and I’m currently in the graphic design part. This program has given me a variety of new skills not just with computers but also with speaking and presenting. In the future I hope to be a pediatrician and you need good communication skills in this profession. E-Comm has been vey helpful in that area. I think that I would like to stay in video and learn more about filming and photography. My biggest strength would be getting my work done the right way. So far I’ve learned how to use Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator. We’ve learned how to layer pictures and edit things to make them look different. I’m most told how hard of a worker I am. I like to ask questions to make sure I’m completing the project the correct way. I like to think that I try my best at everything I do and I don’t give up.
We created this butterfly in photoshop. We had to use a blur tool to duplicated the edges with a fine brush which created a flitter effect.

We also created this school with a compass on it in photoshop. We had to cut the background out of the compass and transfer it onto a picture of our school.

In this project we used many layers in photoshop. First we took a picture of the school then wrote Northwest on it. Then we had to create a layer with an ombre black and blue background to create the this effect.

On this picture we used multi layer pictures an faded them and set them up not top of the school. We edited out the background and placed them on top of each other.

This is my font anatomy of my name. I never got to take the test but I got to choose fonts that describes me in a way. I chose loose and fun fonts because I'm not a very serious person and I like to have fun. When I see curvy fonts I think fun and silly and that just describes me as a person.

We learned about color phycology and created a color wheel. I chose the color blue because it represents purity and feminity. Also the color blue represents being calm and those things represent me in some way. I think this project was very fun and I really enjoyed learning about what the different colors meant.

For my logo I found a monogram badge to enter into illustrator. I entered a curvy font to represent how loose and outgoing I am. I chose the color blue to show how loyal I am and to represent life and purity. I think all the elements of my logo combined express me and show who I am as a person. This was very fun to make and its fun to see after colors and shapes what describes you.

Graphic design is used in everyday life you just don't realize it. Have you every stopped to look and see whats around you? From posters to billboards to the packaging on your water bottle, it all has to do with graphic design. If we didn't have these things around us to persuade us to try new things, we wouldn't. The design of things is appealing to the eyes and makes us want to try it out or lures us to wherever we see something interesting. This is how businesses get new customers and how new products become successful. Yes the actual business or product is also very important but the design or advertisement influences the success that it will receive. People use color and shapes and text to express who they are in a different way. Graphic design is very important and without it, the world wouldn't be the same.

"They Loved Your GPA, Then They Saw Your Tweets"

In this article they talk about how when applying for college they can look at what you post on social media. I was surprised when I read that "As certain high schools seniors work meticulously this month to finish their early applications to colleges, some may not realize that comments they casually make online could negatively affect their prospects." Meaning that the things that they say or post on social media can affect their chance of being excepted into college. I was wondering if your account is private, if they still have access to look over them? I don't really put bad things online however when the time comes closer to apply for college, I will definitely review my account and just be more cautious as to what I choose to post online.

anyzja muse chase scene

The goal of this project was to learn how to create a successful chase scene using little to no audio. We used a story board to draw out the plan and base of the project. We then found actors and explained what the outline of the scene was. We filmed then edited the project. I learned that you really have to watch the angle that you take because it gets confusing to the viewers who is being chased. When he catches her I would make it more visible to the viewers that she was on another stair case. I would keep the fast pace chase because I think that its more interesting to watch. I think overall that me and my partner had a great experience working together and I would like to do this again sometime!

6-shot system

The 6-shot system is used to get a variety of shots and show what the subject is doing. It features a range of shots from far away to shots that are very up close. This system works because it keeps the viewer interested due to the range in which the shot is taken.

This is an extra-wide shot or an establishing shot. Its taken from very far away to show the viewer whats going on around the subject.

A wide shot is a full body shot and just shows what the subject itself is doing instead of the extra-wide shot which shows the subject and everything around it.

A medium shot is a picture from the waist up. Its more of a neutral shot and establishes what the subject looks like.

This is whats called an over the shoulder shot. This shot shows what the subject is looking at and gives the viewer a different point of view.

This is called a close-up of the face. It shows emotion and how the subject is feeling. Its an interesting shot because you can just feel the emotion by looking at the subjects face.

This is a close-up of the hands and it just gives a better idea of what exactly the subject is doing and again just a different interesting point of view.
